Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson, an artist's daughter, from Mexico was born into a music-loving family. She spent most of her youth listening to music from the past and boleros of the past, classic ranchero or romantic music along with old classical pieces. Ana is a fan of tangos and operas as well as other dramatic shows. She began singing and learning the piano with her mom, and commenced more serious vocal training at the age of 16 with renowned Mexican tenor Flavio Becerra. In Guadalajara she studied at the School of Music of University of Guadalajara as well as in Toluca at The School of Sacred Music. The beginning of her professional career was spent performing with various orchestras, chamber ensembles, and opera choirs and chamber groups in Guadalajara. She sang in the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus in the United States before moving to southern California. She is a frequent soloist at private parties and events, performing classical Latin American Music. Alongside being an active performer as well as an instructor and instructor, her passion for arts and music keeps her engaged in a wide range of projects. Ana was also a member of the Community Chorus of Redlands and Inland Master Chorale. She is currently a teacher of the Performance Loft. Ana feels privileged to be able share with others her passion for the tradition of Latin American music. She hopes to inspire younger generations to continue the tradition.
